Ahoy! Im on Long Island, wont be back in Manhattan until late sunday/early monday. I finally made/finished my mix, which by the way is available for download.
Last night was interesting, started off at Lotus then ended up at Charleston feasting on pizza and listening to Brendan mix beastie boys with old school funk...not a bad night at all.

My love of punk rock..
Okay, so I'm going through the hugest punk (late 70s early 80s era) phase. Everything is fucking great about it, the music, the fashion, what they had to say, and how they had to say it to get it out. In honor of this phase, i'm giving you a song.
Black Flag - My War
11 - my war.mp3 - 3.26MB
On the lighter side of music, i'm bringing in a new face (well not so new). His name is Gunther, according to my good friends over at wikipedia he is a former club owner and model from switzerland. How serious his music actually is is quite questionable, but its fucking hilarious and expect to hear it from me @ DJ sets....after a few drinks of course.
So here is Gunther - Ding Dong Song
13 ding dong song.mp3 - 5.70MB
Speaking of DJ sets, I dj'ed last night at Club Europa. It was alright, pretty sweet club. I could'nt actually imagine throwing a party there, but being that your allowed to smoke cigarettes in the dj booth without some scumbag club owner saying you cant, its quite the perk. Also, a little update on One Night Stand usually at St.Jeromes. SO WERE BANNED!!! HA whatever, good. A little sneak preview on whats going on is that we will be moving to Beauty Bar within the week or so on thursday nights. BE THERE.

Elizabeth
SO! I just went with my fashion history teacher and 3 other classmates to see elizabeth for extra credit. Believe it or not, it wasnt half bad. I didnt fall asleep and i could tell you all about it. But I wont. The costumes were amazing, but the music was no Marie Antoinette...ha. So in deep conversation with my fashion history teacher (who also writes for the times), i was asked to co write an article in the times with her after she found out im a dj. The article is about female djs and the trends they set by the clothing they wear and style they keep. I will get credit in the paper for it and a little pay I suppose. Its just another door opening...what can I say? So im at the office right now (UG Strategies) and have nothing else to really say except that ill be working on some remixes tonight...look out for them.
oh.
PARTY TONIGHT AT BENS!!!!
Yeah, drunk dial you later.

Oh Yeah...
So where do I begin...
I was downloading random music on soulseek today when I came about someone who had 162 "90s Dance Hits." Me being me, I decided to download it. Its full of songs like Boom Boom Boom Boom and Eiffel 65's Blue (Da Ba Dee). It crossed my mind that these songs were fucking huge amongst kids back then who were old enough to appreciate them when the first came out (no making fun, i was born in 87). SO FINALLY, my point is, in 10 years are we going to listen to Justice and all of the other popular crap that we must hear and play at clubs every week until we want to throw up from hearing them and be like...what the fuck!
Is everything just in the moment?
Thursday was the official opening night of One Night Stand at St.Jeromes...it went fucking amazing. My friend Abby (Miss Rum) was go go-ing...and i guarantee nobody took their eyes off for a good 2 hours. Overall, the night was fucking amazing and i want to thank all my friends for coming out...sorry i got so incredibly shitfaced at the end of the night, if i didnt say goodbye, its because i couldnt see you.
